Demo 1.0


Hello hello! After a long 5 months and lots of changes, my game's 1.0 demo is now out. And soon to be released on Steam!

This build highlights lots of little changes, but few major additions to content.

Changelog is as follows:

  • Removed some content following the final demo release.
  • Remade pacifism challenge to be more fun, and added pacifism game mode.
  • Added stream gamemode.
  • Added 6 new maps for use in all 3 demo game modes.
  • Complete polish pass over Ocellatus, + new attacks. Shielded phase now works differently.
  • Ocellatus now restores multiplier when you shoot it.
  • All 5 challenges in the game have had a polish pass and their ranks adjusted.
  • Fix challenges that fail unless a certain rank is met not actually doing that.
  • Fixed challenge ranks being set to n/a if you get a fail, even if you previously had a higher rank on that challenge.
  • Removed Denial game mode and combined it with Crowd.
  • Completely refactored collisions to use a new system, colliders are now circles instead of AABBs, and you won't spontaneously die when close-but-not-close-enough to Ocellatus.
  • Control rebinding settings now use visual icons instead of keycodes.
  • Menus now show controls.
  • Added 4 new backgrounds.
  • Nerfed player boost kill bonus.
  • Added main menu music, challenge menu music, and challenge mode music.
  • Adjusted all palettes.
  • Fixed enemies using particle or UI colour where they shouldn't.
